Standard awning NGM 20
Our versatile option for large shaded areas
No terrace or building situation is too big or challenging for our NGM 20. Its impressive shading coverage of up to 80 m² makes it a reliable form of sun-shading and a rarity with these dimensions. The open standard awning is particularly suitable for use in single-family homes or apartment buildings, as well as commercial buildings and restaurants. Its distinguishing feature is the supporting tube, which facilitates a large coverage with maximum stability and optimal load distribution. The NGM 20 can furthermore be ideally adapted to suit individual needs with the addition of extensions, such as a valance that can be lowered or a matching canopy.

Wall or ceiling mounting
Wall or ceiling mounting
The open standard awning is attached on a sturdy mounting bracket. The mounting bracket can be secured to the front-facing side (installation on wall) or tilted 90° so it can be secured upside down on the ceiling. The external dimensions of the standard awning vary depending on the type of installation. When it is closed, the standard awning variant installed on the wall has a depth of approx. 285 mm and a height of 250 mm. With the variant mounted on the ceiling, the depth is approx. 320 mm and the height 270 mm. These dimensions are valid for models with motor drives.
Installation on rafters
Installation on rafters
The version installed on the rafters comes with a specially designed mount that is screwed onto the rafters. In this installation variant, the depth measures approx. 305 mm and the height 462 mm (incl. the rafter mount). These dimensions are valid for models with motor drives.

In addition to protecting from glaring sunlight, prying eyes and keeping the heat in or out, fabrics also diffuse the lighting in the room and are an integral part of the interior design. At Schenker Storen there is an almost endless selection of colours to cater for the colour scheme of your choice. Thanks to our in-house powder-coating system, we produce weather-resistant, scratchproof and dirt-repellent products and can therefore guarantee long-lasting colour fastness.

4. Canopy
If the NGM 20 is to keep out the rain as well, an aluminium canopy can be ordered separately. This protects the awning fabric from direct exposure to the weather when it is retracted. The canopy is mounted directly onto the wall and can also be retrofitted. The canopy is powder-coated and fits in perfectly with the overall look of the awning.
5. Types of drive
Crank or smartphone?
Unsere Normmarkise lässt sich manuell per Handkurbel oder durch einen Motor verstellen. Ab 6 m Breite ist die NGM 20 nur mit Motor erhältlich. Auf Wunsch lässt sich die Markise auch über Funk ansteuern oder Sie können sie in ein Smart-Home-System einbinden lassen und mittels einer Zentralsteuerung auf Knopfdruck oder mit dem Smartphone bequem bedienen.
