Variations

The ZIP system

In a ZIP system, the fabric is held securely along its sides by a zip fastening inside the guide rails. This keeps the fabric pulled taut even in high winds, maintaining a ripple-free finish and reliable shading.

Recess assembly or front-mounted installation

VS ZIP Pro .InSide
The recess-mounted version is designed to sit completely within the recess, so the wind-stable vertical fabric blind disappears out of sight when retracted. This creates a smooth, uncluttered facade that preserves crisp architectural lines, making it ideal for reinstallations.

VS ZIP Pro .OnSide
In front-mounted installations, the wind-stable vertical fabric blind is mounted directly onto the building envelope. A box is built in as standard to protect the fabric as much as possible from the rain and dirt. It is particularly well suited to retrofits, renovations, or projects where the shading system forms an explicit design feature on the facade.

4. Solar drive

The VS ZIP Pro is optionally available with a solar drive. Thanks to an integrated solar module, the system uses energy from the sun, and doesn’t need an additional mains power connection to work. The eclipse option creates optimal conditions for peace and quiet, privacy, and a good night's sleep. It combines high-quality blackout fabrics with a light-proof zip fastening and an integrated blackout brush seal.
