Our bioclimatic slatted roof combines aesthetics and air quality with sophisticated technology: warm air streams upwards through the slats, while the cooling air automatically flows down towards the seating areas. That is how our slatted roof ensures the right amount of ventilation and lighting at naturally balanced temperatures. The slatted roof is the perfect all-weather choice for large gardens and terraces. It can be transformed into an inviting oasis with numerous additional comfort features such built-in LED lighting and vertical fabric blinds down the sides. It fits in beautifully with any setting, is waterproof and its continuously rotating slats create a magical open air experience anywhere, any time.

Free-standing
The LD 6 "free-standing" is a self-supporting single module that stands on four supports and does not need to be secured to a wall. The free-standing single unit requires a base. It can create a shaded area of 35.25 m2 max. and requires six supports for a projection of 6.25 m.
Installation on wall: lengthways or across
Installation on wall: lengthways or across
With this variation, the slatted roof is installed lengthways on the wall and only rests on two supports. In this variant, the slats rotate parallel to the wall of the house; the light and shade to the interior can be regulated with great accuracy at all times.
The slatted roof can also be mounted across the wall. In this case, the slats rotate vertically either from left to right or from right to left. All of the fixing elements are securely concealed within the construction.

The LD 6 can also be fully built into a niche or recess. It is installed along the frame, so it does not need any supports.

1. Colours
Decoration and protection
Match the colour of the aluminium structure, supports and frames with your window, facades or furniture. At Schenker Storen there is an almost endless selection of colours to cater for the colour scheme of your choice. The powder-coating makes our products weather-resistant, scratchproof and dirt-repellent, and guarantees long-lasting colour fastness.
2. Built-in LED strip lighting
A harmonious light source for outdoor living
LED strip lighting can be mounted on our slatted roof, both on the inside and outside of all four sides of the frame. It marries up perfectly with the frames and is covered with a light diffuser panel to create a long-lasting, delightful atmosphere. The LEDs can be easily dimmed to create a cosy setting as they cast a very flattering light over the terrace. LED lights can also be mounted on the rotating slats. Separate LED strips are cleverly built into the slats and provide direct or indirect lighting depending on the angle of the slat.
3. Wind-stable vertical fabric blinds
Side wind and sight protection
Our slatted roof can be extended with wind-stable vertical fabric blinds. Our selection of high-performance fabrics provide excellent privacy and glare protection while creating a peaceful sanctuary under the fabric canopy. The fabric is arranged precisely in the box, which fits in beautifully with the aesthetics and colour of the slatted roof.

You can install three types of glazing all round the sides to protect against the effects of the wind and weather. They are made from high-quality single-pane safety glass, space-saving, easy to operate and fitted in part with a free-flowing floor rail.
Fixed glazing: mounted in a fixed position; encased in elegant, slim yet very stable aluminium profiles.
Folding glazing: The glass panels can be individually opened across the entire front and stack neatly to the side taking up minimal space.
Sliding glazing: The sliding glass panels can be moved in parallel. When one sliding panel is opened or closed, the other one automatically opens and closes as well.

6. Types of drive
Switch or smartphone?
The slatted roof can only be powered by a motor. On request, it can be controlled wirelessly or you can integrate it into a Smart Home system so you can operate it with ease at the push of a button via a central control unit or on your smartphone.
