Our gem
The elegant all-metal blind GM 200 is our gem among slat blinds. Architects and building owners really value it because it is unique and meets high aesthetic standards. The great advantage with an all-metal blind is the smooth look of the drop which is not distorted by textile or lifting cords. The rocker and raising mechanics are concealed in the side guides permitting maximum darkening effect and heat insulation, and makes the blind easier to clean. Thanks to the built-in anti-lift device, the all-metal blind also satisfies increased requirements for protection against break-ins. It is very wind-stable, extremely robust and durable.

Round slats specially designed to resist buckling. Slat width 92 mm and slat thickness approx. 0.6 mm. Flanged slats, guided on both sides, with bonded-in noise-suppressing lip. The slat is retained by metal supports (guide bolts) on both sides and secured with stainless-steel clips.
Damaged slats can be individually replaced.

Profile guide
Profile guide
Guide profile with retracted, UV-stabilised noise-suppressing profile ensures it slides quietly and securely. Continuous guide made from extruded aluminium that slides quietly and securely – available colourless/colour anodised or powder-coated.
Shapes and designs: round, angular, slim and wide.
Can be installed on the side of the soffit or pre-hung with various guide brackets. Additional guide extensions can be installed if necessary.
Flush-mounted option:
Recess the guides in the soffit. This provides the advantage of blocking out the light down the sides and neatly conceals the profile guide.

In this installation scenario, the all-metal blind is fully integrated into the recess. The blind is built into the facade so it is concealed when retracted. This gives the facade an uncluttered look.
Fixed guide: Self-supporting guide system
Installation of the frame on fixed guides with guide supports, which is open at the bottom and easily accessible for servicing purposes. After the fixed guides have been installed, the frame can be connected directly with the guides. The self-supporting window blind design protects the insulation in the recess and also reduces the transmissions of noise and makes for an easy installation.
Installation at the front of the building
Installation at the front of the building
In this installation scenario, the compact venetian blind is attached to the front of the facade. The window blind design projects out from the facade. An additional canopy is attached to the facade to protect the blind and cover it when it is retracted. The canopy is available in various shapes and colours.

1. Working position
This special function prevents a sudden blackout when the blinds lower. There is enough light in the room to see until the venetian blind is completely shut.
2. Panel
In this installation scenario, the all-metal blind is built into the recess and the mount on the outside is covered with an additional panel. This panel offers further options for the design of the facade. The panels are available in a wide selection of shapes and colours.
3. Extruded slats
Special, robust extruded slats. Slat width 92mm and slat thickness approx. 1.1 mm, with felt strips for the noise-suppressing lip. The slat is retained by metal supports (guide bolts) on both sides and secured with stainless-steel clips for increased security and stability. Damaged slats can be replaced individually.
4. Stainless roller chain
Rustproof roller chain in stainless steel finish
The lifting mechanism works off a solid, maintenance-free roller chain, which is also available in a rustproof stainless steel finish and with specially treated slat supports to withstand the harsh effects of the weather and salty air if installed near the sea. The rocker mechanism also consists of stainless-steel folding segments.

You can match the colour of the profile guides and slats with your window and facade. At Schenker Storen there is an almost endless selection of colours to cater for the colour scheme of your choice. Thanks to our in-house powder-coating procedure, our products are weather-resistant, scratchproof and dirt-repellent, and can therefore guarantee long-lasting colour fastness.

Our all-metal blind can be powered both manually with a hand crank or a motor. You decide whether to control your blinds wirelessly or connect them to a Smart Home system to make operating them even easier.
