The aluminium roller blind is our classic sun and weather protection option for residential and commercial buildings that is inspiringly elegant and effortless. When it is completely closed, it ensures reliable darkening and excellent sight protection. It also offers excellent sound and heat insulation, thereby reducing the building's heating costs. If in addition to all this it has to provide good protection against break-ins, you can select the security roller blind version.

The box is made from powder-coated aluminium sheetand has an inspection flap and side bearing bracket made from die-cast aluminium and connecting straps to attach onto the guides. The drop of the roller blind is delivered completely preassembled and installed in the box.

Profile height 41 mm
Movable, roll-formed, powder-coated aluminium sliding profiles filled with CFC-free polyurethane foam: 41mm high. Straight with optional micro-perforations to let in light and air (free surface ~1.3% for every 1 x 1 metres). A plastic glider is fitted on both sides on every second rod.

Recess assembly
In this installation scenario, the roller blind is fully integrated into the recess. The roller blind is concealed in the facade when it is retracted, so as not to clutter the facade.
Installation of box roller blind
In this installation scenario, the box roller blind is a stand-alone, enclosed system. Depending on the design and requirements, the roller blind can be installed so it unfolds outwardly or inwardly.
Installation at the front of the building
In this installation scenario, the box roller blind is a stand-alone, enclosed system. Front-mounted roller blinds are great for installing later, as they are extremely simple to retrofit. This solution can change the appearance of the facade and, through careful selection, really enhance the overall look.

The security roller blind is virtually burglar-proof. It is made from extruded aluminium profiles that are extremely stable. The burglar-proof roller blind also has reinforced jimmy-proof side guide rails, as well as an optional manual locking latch.

1. Anti-lift device
The automatic anti-lift device is guaranteed by a special stable drop fixation.
2. Locking latch
The closed roller blind can also be locked in the lowered position with a manual latch.
This option must not be used together with a motor.
3. Extender
Unlike conventional roller blinds, the extenders have the advantage of being able to darken and ventilate a room at the same time. Plus, the degree of shading can be varied according to the breadth of the extension. Viewed from the outside, our extendable blinds can help create a harmonious look, especially on linear facades. Furthermore, they can be configured to fit in with both modern and specific historical architectural styles.
4. Perforate rods
The perforated sliding profiles facilitate optimum light control and circulation of air, and ensure pleasant lighting and indoor climate.
5. Wind-stable
This design is only available with the fixed guide. Specially developed components make this roller blind RL 37 W particularly wind-stable.
6. Colours
A rainbow of colours
Match the colour of the profile guides and drop with your window and facade. At Schenker Storen there is an almost endless selection of colours to cater for the colour scheme of your choice. Thanks to our in-house powder-coating system, we produce weather-resistant, scratchproof and dirt-repellent products and can therefore guarantee long-lasting colour fastness.
7. Drop closure with noise-absorbing inserts
The drop closure is made from extruded aluminium and is colourless anodised or powder-coated on request. A noise-absorbing insert is installed on the underside of the profile to improve the darkening effect and reduce the sound it makes when closing.
8. Types of drive
Our roller blind can be powered with a hand crank, cord, spring balancer or motor. You decide whether to control your roller blind wirelessly or connect it to a Smart Home system to make it even easier to operate.
9. Smart Home
