The metal compact venetian blind MV 90 is our upgrade from the compact venetian blind VR 90.
It has all the characteristics of the tried and tested VR 90, and a lot more besides. It ensures maximum security with its active locking mechanism and special slat guide. It is sturdy, low maintenance and, thanks to its sophisticated design, suitable for all types of buildings. Because a lifting cord is not threaded through the slats, it provides maximum darkening and heat insulation. The metal compact venetian blind is used everywhere that places greater demands on quality and versatility.

Special sturdy, generously overlapping Z-slats: Slat width 90 mm and slat thickness approx. 0.45 mm. Slats flanged and guided on both sides with noise and light attenuating profiles.

Profile guide
Guide profile with retracted, UV-stabilised noise-suppressing profile ensures it slides quietly and securely.
Continuous guide made from extruded aluminium that slides quietly and securely – available colourless/colour anodised or powder-coated.
Shapes and designs: round, angular, slim and wide.
Can be installed on the side of the soffit or with various guide brackets (installation at the front of the building). Additional guide extensions can be installed if necessary.
Flush-mounted option: Recess the guides in the soffit. This provides the advantage of blocking out the light down the sides and neatly conceals the profile guide.

In this installation scenario, the metal compact venetian blind is fully integrated into the recess. The blind is built into the facade so it is concealed when retracted. This gives the facade an uncluttered look.
Fixed guide: Self-supporting guide system
Installation of the frame on fixed guides with guide supports, which is open at the bottom and easily accessible for servicing purposes. After the fixed guides have been installed, the frame can be connected directly with the guides. The self-supporting window blind design protects the insulation in the recess and also reduces the transmissions of noise and makes for an easy installation.

In this installation scenario, the metal compact venetian blind is attached to the front of the facade. The window blind design projects out from the facade. An additional canopy is attached to the facade to protect the blind and cover it when it is retracted. The canopy is available in various shapes and colours.

1. Working position (A)
This special function prevents a sudden blackout when the blinds lower. There is enough light in the room to see until the venetian blind is completely shut.
2. Panel
In this installation scenario, the metal compact venetian blind is built into the recess and the mount on the outside is covered with an additional panel. This panel offers further options for the design of the facade. The panels are available in a wide selection of shapes and colours.

You can match the colour of the slats, profile guides, panels and canopies with your window and facade. At Schenker Storen there is an almost endless selection of colours to cater for the colour scheme of your choice. Thanks to our in-house powder-coating system, we produce weather-resistant, scratchproof and dirt-repellent products and can therefore guarantee long-lasting colour fastness.

Our metal compact venetian blind can be powered both manually with a hand crank or a motor. You decide whether to control your blinds wirelessly or connect them to a Smart Home system to make operating them even easier.
