Our folding roller blind folds up neatly into the box saving you space – hence the name. This means it doesn’t need a high recess, which makes it perfect for both residential and commercial buildings. Outwardly, it offers reliable protection against the weather, while from the inside it provides sound and noise insulation and regulates the brightness to create the right ambience. The modern design of the rods and the ease of the filigree chain connection give it a special charm.
It is also secured against being raised and fitted with an automatic locking mechanism as standard. The folding roller blind is stylish, sturdy and exceptionally service and maintenance-friendly.

Roll-formed, powder-coated aluminium profiles. These movable 41mm-long rods are connected via steel links and folded and stacked in the recess in pairs.
Plastic guide sliders that control the folding mechanism are fitted on every second rod. Connecting the rods with chains creates a high level of light permeability (free surface ~12% for every 1 x 1 metres).

In this installation scenario, the folding roller blind is fully integrated into the recess. The movable rods of the folding roller blind are folded and stacked in pairs in the recess. The folding roller blind is concealed in the facade when it is retracted, so it doesn’t clutter the facade.
The following types of installation are available:
Conventional guide:
Installed on the wall with a galvanised mounting bracket. The lateral guides made from extruded aluminium are colourless anodised and fitted with noise-insulating plastic inserts.
Fixed guide: Self-supporting guide system
In this example, the blinds are installed on the soffit using a side console made from galvanised steel, which is connected with the guides. The self-supporting roller blind design protects the insulation in the recess and also reduces the transmissions of noise and makes for an easy installation.
