The success of the steel foundry project relied primarily on a compact construction and the revitalisation of the plot that kept the industrial heritage intact. A whole new district has risen where once tons of steel were poured. The classic flexible choice
The vertical fabric blind is our classic choice for discreet, vertical sun shading on facades, loggias and balconies. It offers huge design potential for facades and fits in beautifully with different building situations. It is suitable for small to medium-sized window fronts and is mainly used in single-family homes and apartment buildings.
When the sun is out, the vertical fabric blind creates an optimum darkening effect inside, but doesn’t block the view to the outside and still lets the fresh air in to circulate. It is adaptable, durable and has proven itself beyond all doubt with its wide range of applications.

Small recess dimension, made for small to medium-sized shaded areas. The VS 95 is discrete and up to two systems can be linked together. With the VS 150, several systems can be mechanically linked together. In large areas, the profile guide variant has a moving cross bar for greater wind stability.

Compact box construction, particularly suitable for front-mounted installations. Does not require an additional panel, as it is completely integrated in the box. The fabric and construction are completely protected against dust, rain and wind. Four different size boxes depending on the dimension. Scratch and weatherproof side consoles as well as aluminium boxes. Easy to maintain thanks to the built-in service access flap. The fabric rod runs to the box over the profile guide, and locks flush in place.

Profile guide
Continuous guide made from extruded aluminium that slides quietly and securely – available colourless and colour anodised or powder-coated. Can be installed on the side of the reveal or with different guide brackets (e.g. a front-mounted installation).
Self-supporting guide system: The guide holds up the mounts or boxes. The self-supporting window blind design protects the insulation in the recess and also reduces the transmission of noise and makes for an easy installation.
Cord or rod guide
Cord or rod guide
A fine, discrete and anti-corrosive steel cord thanks to its plastic coating. Cord diameter: 3 mm. Easy to attach with spring pre-load for an unrestricted installation.
The robust rod guide made of anti-corrosive steel withstands the effects of the wind better but, by contrast, is more visible. Rod diameter: 10mm. The cord and rod guides do not have to be fixed onto the wall or reveal. It can be attached on the side or mounted on top. Low-maintenance, space-saving and stainless. Possible for VS 95 / VS 150.
Recess assembly or front-mounted installation
Recess assembly or front-mounted installation
In the recess assembly installation scenario, the vertical fabric blind is fully integrated into the recess. The blind is concealed in the facade when it is retracted, so it doesn’t clutter the facade. This means it is also suitable for reinstallations.
In a front-mounted installation, the vertical fabric blind is attached to the facade. The VS without a box can be fitted with one of the canopies from our wide selection to best protect the fabric from the rain and dirt. It is particularly suitable for retrofitting or renovation projects.

Crank or smartphone?
Our vertical fabric blind can be adjusted both manually with a hand crank or a motor. If you prefer, the blind can be controlled wirelessly or you can integrate it into a Smart Home system so you can operate it with ease at the push of a button via a central control unit or on your smartphone.
