Our extendable blind brings together all the advantages of a vertical awning with those of a drop-arm awning.
It can help create a harmonious appearance, especially on straight facades, and is frequently used in residential complexes as well as office buildings, and increasingly in single-family homes.
The extendable blind is the ideal choice for providing both ventilation and sun shading in the room. The retractable arms can be freely adjusted in every position up to an angle of 180°. So, when the extendable blind is fully extended, not only does it provide maximum shade, it still lets you fully enjoy the natural light without sitting in direct sunlight.
The AS 95 model is stylish and slim making it perfect for shallow recesses.
The AS 95 comes with or without a canopy. There are two lengths to choose from. ((Typ 50 und Typ 53.)) The AS 95 can be linked with two systems in a row, at most. The retractable arms come in two lengths: 400 mm and 500 mm.
Our AS 150 is suitable for larger window frames and surface areas. It can be linked with several systems extending over a maximum area of 18 m2. Despite the size, its retractable arms and fabric rod are still discrete and stylish.
The AS 150 comes with or without a canopy. There are five different shapes and lengths to choose from.
Plus, the retractable arms come in two different lengths: 400 mm and 500 mm.
We created the ASR 95 with a chrome-steel finish for regions where it is important for the parts to be more resistant to corrosion. The rod guide and extending mechanism are made completely from sturdy, rust-proof stainless steel. The ASR 95 has four possible retractable arm lengths: 400 mm, 500 mm, 700 mm and 1000 mm. This model also comes into its own where space is an issue as its roller diameter is just 52mm. Plus, the maximum extension angle is 135°. The ASR 95 comes with or without a canopy. There are two lengths to choose from.
In the recess assembly installation scenario, the self-supporting extendable blind is built into the recess. The blind is almost undiscernible in the facade when it is retracted, so it doesn’t create a cluttered look. This means it is also suitable for reinstallations.
With a front-mounted installation, the extendable blind is attached to the facade. The front-mounted installation can be fitted with one of the canopies from our wide selection to best protect the fabric from the rain and dirt. It is particularly suitable for retrofitting or renovation projects.
The extendable blind has an elegant, slim guide profile that fits in well with modern architecture – available colourless and colour anodised or powder-coated.
It slides quietly and securely on the continuous guide made from extruded aluminium.
It can be installed as a front assembly, on the side of the reveal directly on the wall or with different guide brackets (e.g. a front-mounted installation). The roller bearing is attached to the profile guides, not the building, which makes it a self-supporting system.
There is a whole range of options on offer for the extendable blind so it can best satisfy your needs and desires. Countless fabric designs and a wide selection of colours for the frames help you create a beautiful look for your facade, balcony and terrace. For even more comfort, our products can be controlled using our clever Smart Home solutions.
